Copper

Copper is involved in several physiological processes, including photosynthesis, respiration, and the formation of lignin in cell walls. It also plays a role in the synthesis of enzymes and proteins. Copper deficiency symptoms include wilting, leaf curling, and browning of leaf tips. Cereals, legumes, and fruit crops are susceptible to copper deficiency. Applying copper-based fungicides or copper sulfate fertilizers can help alleviate deficiencies.
