MAP (Monoammonium Phosphate)

MAP, or monoammonium phosphate, is a widely used water-soluble fertilizer that contains both phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N). It is a highly versatile fertilizer commonly used in various agricultural systems, including field crops, horticulture, and greenhouse production.

The primary advantage of MAP is its balanced nutrient composition. It provides a readily available source of both nitrogen and phosphorus to plants, promoting healthy root development, improved flowering, and increased fruit production. The nitrogen in MAP helps support vegetative growth, while the phosphorus enhances overall plant metabolism and energy transfer.

Being water-soluble, MAP is easily absorbed by plant roots, ensuring efficient nutrient uptake. It is suitable for application through various irrigation methods, such as fertigation or foliar spraying, providing flexibility to farmers and gardeners in terms of application techniques.
